DILLON MATHIES
OWNER
Dillon Mathies is an adaptive leader and expert manager with experience in the private sector, military, and nonprofit sectors.
With responses to natural disasters both as a Louisiana National Guardsman and as a disaster response and recovery consultant, Dillon understands problem solving and adaptation in dynamic and complex environments, from the pre-planning and analysis stage to refinement of operational systems.
Prior to Horatius Management, Dillon served for two years on active duty with the Louisiana National Guard as a Special Projects Officer and Rear Detachment S1 (Administrative Officer), and with Baton Rouge-based consulting firms Emergent Method and H2Bravo, specializing in project management and supporting strategic and succession planning, executive recruitment, outreach and engagement, formal procurement processes, and proposal development.
Since 2017, Dillon has been extremely active in the philanthropic community, where he has founded multiple veteran-focused nonprofit organizations supporting all aspects of the veteran community.
Dillon earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Bachelor of Arts in History, and a Bachelor of Arts in Disaster Science and Management from Louisiana State University in 2014. In 2018, while serving overseas in the military, he earned a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) and Graduate Certificate in Analytics from LSU.
